2- 1942 he qualified in law at universty.
3- 1944 he join the African National Congress.
4- 1948 he engaged in resistance against the ruling National party's.
5- 1956 he went on a trail for treason.
6- 1960 after the banning of the ANC argued for the setting up of a military wing within ANC.
7- 1961 he was aquitted.
8- 1962 nelson arrested for 5 years sentenced to give.
9- 1963 many other leader were arrested at that time.
10-1964 His statement from the dock received considerable international publicity.
11- 1982 he was incarcerated at Robben Island Prison, off Cape Town thereafter.
12- 1990 he was released, after his release, he plunged himself wholeheartedly into his life's work.
